Stress Management

Throughout our life's it is very easy for us to become overwhelmed, whether that is from work, relationships, school, studying, family, financial problems or any pressures placed on us. These kinds of pressures can result in the brain producing more of the cortisol hormone resulting in us feeling physically stressed. This chemical causes us to sweat, increases heart rate, breathing gets faster, blood sugars increase, and it can even impair the immune system. It can be very difficult on the mind to cope with stress and it can begin to present itself physically through lack of sleep, anxiety, habits, muscle pain, headaches or even feeling sad, angry, nervous and burnt out.

  • How can we help?

Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy strengthens the brain in a way which enables it cope with these emotions much more positively. During hypnotherapy sessions the conscious mind will be closed off and clients can enjoy deep relaxation and time out of whatever stress they are going through. Furthermore, hypnotherapy also reduces negative thinking and will allow the individual to come up with their own coping mechanisms. Typically 6-8 full sessions are required.
