Within any sport, it is important to stay physically in shape, and many athletes work extremely hard to maintain their physical health. However, the mental health of athletes is a very important aspect of performance. 

Some sports people may experience challenges such as mental blocks, feel pressure from having to commit, stress, anxiety over competition or can struggle focusing in general due to external life circumstances outside of their sport. 

Currently hypnotherapy has been used by boxers, equestrians, weightlifters, runners, golfers, tennis players and many more!

Hypnotherapy helps train the mind so that you are mentally prepared to focus, stay motivated, stay 'in the zone'. Hypnotherapy helps with emotional control, so when your body has adrenaline pumping round it can cope with the heightened sense of emotion, ultimately helping control aggression, frustration or nerves. Utilising sessions leading up to and on the day of sporting events, competitions or games can help athletes be in the correct frame of mind in achieving their sporting goals.
